Dihexa is a small molecule developed from angiotensin IV, a fragment of the angiotensin peptide system better known for blood pressure regulation. It was designed at Washington State University to be stable and to cross the blood-brain barrier, and research interest centres on its interaction with hepatocyte growth factor signalling.
